With the continuous development of our business, we are looking for a Senior Specialist to join our Total Rewards, which is part of the Corporate Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits area.
You will be responsible for effective process and project management with a global scope, including rewards strategy implementation, data gathering, auditing and analytics, global process administration, and general support in executing the Danfoss Total Rewards programs, initiatives, and strategic objectives across the organization.
As our new Senior Specialist in Total Rewards, you will report to the Head of Compensation & Benefits and Global Mobility within Total Rewards Center of Excellence; you will get a group of very helpful and engaging colleagues; you’ll enjoy an environment where continuous learning and growth are supported.
The ideal working location will be either Copenhagen or Nordborg, but for the right candidate, we are also open for a base in other Danfoss locations.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Own and run global C&B processes according to the annual HR cycle in cooperation with other Center of Excellence colleagues, Regional HR teams and people managers.
- Coordinate and conduct analysis, interpret results and work towards improvements within Performance Management Process to support the development and maintenance of effective Total Reward programs aligned with the strategy.
- Act as subject matter expert for market data/market knowledge and support to coordinate with relevant stakeholder’s annual surveys from Mercer, KF and other ad hoc surveys in C&B area.
- Gather, analyze and apply relevant business data to optimize performance (Pay for Performance analysis, compensation equity analysis, effectiveness of current programs, ESG initiatives etc.)
- Support IPE evaluations based on Mercer methodology
- Drive and support Danfoss’ Global Benefits strategy finding ways to stay market relevant globally through sound and reliable benchmarking analysis and solid business cases
- Drive and support Danfoss’ Global variable pay strategy challenging status quo and seeking market relevance and competitiveness across our important locations and businesses
- Support in the creation of presentations for HR Leadership and Executive level audiences
- Train and educate relevant HR personnel and people managers in C&B principles and guidelines

To be considered for this position, we expect you to have a Post Graduate degree or equivalent education, preferably in HR or Finance, combined with experience working in a similar global position with a strong focus on analytics and compensation for at least 5-7 years.
Additionally, you bring:
- Experience in project management, strong capabilities to influence stakeholders via efficient communication and presentation skills
- Sound skills in Excel with ability to analyze, interpret and communicate; strong skills in other Microsoft programs with flair for details and passion to promote Total Rewards through a combination of data and storytelling
- Demonstrated understanding of relationship between Total Rewards processes and HR Systems; experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
- Fluent in written and verbal English (other languages would be an advantage)
- Proven equivalent experience from a multinational company with similar global footprint as Danfoss
As a person, you are strong and confident an able to guide HR and leaders through the Danfoss Total Rewards landscape. You are self-motivated, proactive and a problem-solving focused person with high understanding of stakeholder management principles.
