Can you take ownership of product compliance and sustainability requirements helping us align and execute on Danfoss priorities? Does it motivate you to cooperate in cross-organizational teams across product lines and corporate functions? If so, you could be the ideal candidate for the role of Specialist, Product Compliance and Sustainability in Danfoss Group Regulatory. 

Danfoss Group Regulatory is a central support function set out to act as a skilled, proactive, and reliable partner for Danfoss management, functions and business segments in product compliance and product sustainability matters. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to build a wide international network and have the chance to both utilize and enhance your project management skills.

You will be onboarded and work closely together with an experienced product compliance and sustainability specialist working out of our Copenhagen office.

Job Responsibilities

By joining our team, you will engage in enhancing sustainability and addressing chemical requirements for our products. Your role will involve developing competencies, processes, tools, and best practices that are implemented throughout Danfoss business units and corporate functions, ensuring compliance with these requirements.

More specifically, your tasks will be to: 

  • Monitor and assess impacts of the increasing legal provisions for product sustainability, such as requirements for eco-design, Extended Producer Responsibility, and Right to Repair.
  • Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders to implement compliance and sustainability requirements in our processes such as new product development.
  • Ensure that market and regulatory requirements are met in the digitalization of product compliance and sustainability, e.g. full material declarations and the Digital Product Passport.
  • Participate in national and international standardization work groups.
  • Support in monitoring and implementing processes related to product chemical compliance such as REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and critical raw materials.

Background & Skills

To excel in this position, you should have a relevant degree in engineering, science, or a related field, along with experience in product sustainability and compliance, as well as interest in product chemical regulations.

With your exceptional teamwork and communication skills you possess the ability to influence and engage with credibility and impact in a diverse and global organization. Your structured mindset and proficient IT skills ensure your motivation and capability to lead or participate in work groups across our organization.

It is crucial that you excel in maintaining relationships at every level within the organization, as well as with external stakeholders.
