The Impact You'll Make
The Inventory Cycle Counter will ensure inventory accuracy across the facility.
This is a 1st Shift position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete daily cycle counts as designated by Danfoss Requirements
- Perform data-entry accurately into Danfoss ERP system
- Investigate root cause of discrepancies
- Investigate ICA (Inventory Count Adjustment) requests received and resolve by making the proper transactions in ERP
- Perform material handling duties as necessary (moving/taking down pallets, etc)
- Safe operation of forklift
- Maintain accurate paperwork, auditing for correct part numbers and quantities by location
- Ability to understand complex work in process (WIP) when evaluating part accuracy
- Perform tasks in a manner meeting the Danfoss Safety requirements
- Assist in Continuous Improvement Efforts to meet Plant goals
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Twelve (12) months inventory control related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in computer data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- High degree of analytical ability
- Ability to perform work efficiently with minimum supervision
- Ability to interact positively with other employees in team-oriented environment
- Ability to complete and pass fork-lift training courses
- Satisfactory record of recent job performance(s)
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces throughout most of day, with some lifting required (up to 40 pounds)
- Ability to communicate findings and possible root causes effectively
