Job Description
As part of our strategy, Danfoss is committed to strengthening the relationship with our partners throughout the Pacific region and we need the assistance of a Channel Partner Manager to drive and implement our Partner Excellence Program within our Power Electronics and Drives Business.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with the various stakeholders to implement the Partner program across the region.
Job Responsibilities
In this position, you will provide leadership and direction for channel partners to facilitate growth and ensure they meet business objectives.
This includes building the relationship, and monitoring the performance of the partners to achieve growth targets in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Launch & implement Partner Excellence Program for all channel partners. This includes, but is not limited to; communication, launch and execution to the market.
- Lead the relationship and provide a single point of contact for partners
- Responsible to work with partners in developing business plans, expense budgeting and marketing plans with support from regional sales managers
- Educate and communicate to the partners on the various programs which includes tracking and communicating the monthly results and driving financial-based value propositions for channel partner growth.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with channel partners to track growth performance against the plan.
- Analyze channel partner capacity throughout the region and identify gaps. Perform analysis of channel partner mix by product specialty and develop a plan to ensure existing partner development/ new partner development targeting the correct mix of partners
- Conduct periodic channel audits on program requirements such as shelf share, business requirements, etc. to determine the classification of channel partners each year.
- Work with partners in identifying marketing activities that provide the most ROI for their funds and align with growth initiatives for their markets.
- Collaborate with and maintain a reliable communication mechanism with sales and product management departments to ensure efforts are aligned with objectives.
- Collaborate with sales managers on the identification and execution of Synergy sales.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics) or Master's degree in Business Administration
- Previous sales and product development /management experience.
- Computer literate in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience developing and implementing partner programs within a global organisation.
- Ability to manage through influence and team building.
