Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Marketing Communication Manager to join our diverse team. This role will see you responsible for the overall marketing communication initiatives for Danfoss Pacific, ensuring strong brand positioning and nurturing sales leads in Australia and New Zealand. 

In this position, you will prepare and activate omnichannel marketing campaigns and localise and customise global campaigns for Pacific based on customer, market and competitor insights. A strong understanding of the customer journey and how we best nurture leads through the funnel is essential to the success of this position.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following.

    • Translate the regional growth plan into a MarCom plan with clear targets.
    • Responsible for understanding the business mandates and being able to translate the same into a well-defined marketing plan based on customer insights and market intelligence. 
    • Be able to deep-dive into the industry or customer-specific business challenges and must be capable to activate the various marketing levers to address the same.  
    • Evaluate marketing performance of partners, have constant dialogues to understand Danfoss’ support to their businesses and brand positioning, and provide recommendations.
    • Roll out campaigns in cooperation with global MarCom colleagues.
    • Establish and grow joint marketing plans with Danfoss partners with KPI settings.
    • Align, develop, initiate, and monitor all marketing communication campaign strategies/plans according to global and regional business direction.
    • Develop and monitor measurable results, analysing effectiveness and impact towards growing the business in the region.
    • Monitor MarCom activities continuously in terms of budget adherence with input and alignment from relevant regional stakeholders.
    • Ability to independently make key marketing decisions for the Pacific region, weighing the effectiveness towards business impact, enabling lead generation, and growing brand awareness.
    • Take full ownership in handling Marketing budgets, carefully considering dedicating the right budget for the prioritized activities that are in line with the region’s growth strategy.
    • Challenge the status quo in how marketing decisions and deliverables should be made, standing firm on the right route to take to achieve the best results for the region’s business.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or Business
    • 8 to 10 years in marketing communications role in B2B marketing or equivalent
    • Proven experience in partner marketing and campaign/project management with measurable results
    • Strong grasp of digital and traditional marketing communication integration and market trends
    • Ability to work in matrix and multicultural organization
    • Strong project manager
    • Proactive, resourceful, independent, self-motivator and process-driven mindset
    • Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and ability to connect well with stakeholders
    • High degree of flexibility and sense of urgency
    • Has good presentation skills
    • Ability to work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an added advantage
