Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Service Manager to lead our Service team located in the South Eastern Suburbs.
In this position you will focus on growing our service business by promoting the service offerings through our service partners as well as our national sales teams.
You will also be responsible for managing the technical support and service team to ensure that they deliver high level of support to our customers.
Job Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure effective execution of DrivePro® Life Cycle Services focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Promote DrivePro® Life Cycle Services to increase our market share and achieve growth targets.
- Work closely with Service Partner Network to ensure satisfactory service is delivered across states.
- Ensures control over all management/administrative aspects of provided services.
- Ensure the team provide prompt and quality Pre-Post Sales technical support.
- Perform regular analysis & evaluation on all cases logged on SalesForce to make recommendations to reduce the cases raised.
- Identify training needs by evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the support and service team and service partners to meet the required levels to support Danfoss Pacific’s customer base.
- Keep ahead of the industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement.
- Recommend optimum spare parts inventory level for all our Product portfolio and review obsolescence on a yearly basis.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Electrical background.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a small team (up to 10 employees) in a technical service team
- Experience in providing customer service support
- Demonstrated knowledge of Drives & Softstarter products in their life cycle
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Computer literacy in an ERP package (SAP or similar)
