The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Deputy Manager Business Development, You will drive sustainable growth for Danfoss by enabling energy-efficient HVAC/R solutions across commercial buildings, pharma, and data center segments in North India. Your work will directly influence how customers reduce energy consumption, optimize systems, and future-proof their operations.

In this role, you will be the trusted advisor to consultants, end users, and OEMs—helping them select the right technologies across drives, compressors, and heat exchangers. By strengthening relationships and expanding share of wallet, you will play a key role in shaping the region’s transition toward smarter, greener infrastructure.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and channel partners to deliver impactful solutions, ensuring customers experience the full value of Danfoss innovation from first conversation to project completion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build strong relationships with consultants, end users, and OEMs to expand adoption of HVAC/R solutions and grow market share
  • Drive sales across products such as drives, compressors, and heat exchangers by identifying opportunities and converting them into business outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to deliver compelling proposals, tenders, and customer presentations
  • Manage commercial activities including pricing, negotiation, and contracting to secure profitable and sustainable business
  • Support regional and cross-regional projects to ensure consistent customer experience and business growth

What We're Looking For

  • Engineering background with proven experience in technical or solution sales
  • Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems or related equipment (fans, pumps, drives, BMS, chillers, etc.)
  • Experience working with consultants, OEMs, or end users in commercial buildings, pharma, or data centers
  • Ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders across levels
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in a dynamic, target-driven environment
