The Impact You'll Make
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Tactical Buyer Supervisor who will become a key member of our procurement team. In this role, you will oversee a team of buyers, coordinate day-to-day purchasing activities, and ensure that all processes run efficiently and in alignment with internal procedures and the company’s strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing the team of tactical buyers
- Managing and optimizing day-to-day purchasing processes
- Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
- Close collaboration with planning, logistics, and production departments
- Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance
- Handling operational issues and escalations within the procurement process
- Ensuring compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures
- Reporting and analyzing procurement activities for management
What We're Looking For
- You are a natural leader who knows how to motivate, guide, and develop your team
- You have experience in people management – you can set priorities, define goals, and support your team in achieving them
- You take responsibility, make data-driven decisions, and handle problems promptly and effectively
- You communicate confidently across departments as well as with external partners (in a multicultural environment)
- You are passionate about continuous process improvement, efficiency, and finding new solutions
- You have experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP is an advantage)
- You have a good command of English (minimum B2 level) – you will use it on a daily basis
