Job Description
Danfoss in Easley, SC has an opening for a 3rd shift Assembler. The Assembler will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures. Transport valves to workstations.

Maintain minimum production levels. Notify supervisor of shortages of assembly supplies.

Comprehend and execute instructions from engineering blueprints, routings, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.

Use assembly/torque tools. May analyze defective valves and repair them to conforming specifications.

Retrieve replacement parts from stockroom. Install and remove bubble test fittings. Complete accompanying paperwork for assembly operations.

High School education or GED equivalency. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to read and write legibly.

Must be able to work standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. You must have good motor skills.

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.

Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
