The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is searching for a Cycle Count Clerk for the 1st shift.  The cycle count clerk regularly counts subsets of inventory and compares the physical stock to system records to ensure data accuracy. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Count Inventory: Conduct scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly physical counts of specific stock items, parts, or products.
  • Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts and report errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports such as inventory balance and shortages. Actively participate in counts.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of inventory discrepancies and report findings to the Stockroom Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with the Stockroom Supervisor to develop training programs for cycle counters

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems promptly; skillfully gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions; collaborates effectively in group problem-solving situations; applies reason even when addressing emotional topics.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to other employees of the organization.
  • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional internal customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits internal customer feedback to enhance service.
  • Responds to requests for service and assistance; fulfills commitments.
