The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a Team Lead for the first shift. The Manufacturing Lead will guide Team Coordinators on assigned tasks and support the prioritization and scheduling of work. This role involves ensuring production orders meet their due dates, maintaining the quality of products passed to subsequent operations, and overseeing that production processes comply with established standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate with the production planning team to prioritize production requirements. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Facilitate cross-shift coordination to manage priorities and workloads efficiently. Oversee cross-training initiatives to enhance workforce flexibility.
  • Collaborate with full-time trainers to improve employee skill sets. Communicate objectives, projects, changes, and programs clearly and positively.
  • Support employee engagement by offering constructive feedback on outcomes and contributing to planning activities.
  • Accurately process scrap tickets and provide insights for scrap reduction initiatives based on identified causes and sources.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED. Basic math skills.
  • Broad technical knowledge relevant to the area of work.Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively among team members.
  • Dependability paired with a positive attitude.Strong leadership qualities including flexibility, reliability, and autonomy are essential for a lead role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to train and mentor employees effectively in the area of work.
