We are now recruiting for a Software Developer to join our team at our Edinburgh facility, currently based in Loanhead (EH20 9TB), but shortly to move to our brand new low-carbon innovation centre site at Shawfair Business Park, Edinburgh.

Job Responsibilities

The Software Developer will be responsible for:

•    Own the development of PLUS+1® Service Tool page development for Digital Displacement products
•    Work with in-house UX specialists and customers to design customer applications
•    Use company interface and design guidelines to drive design
•    Align with our company UX/UI Design Systems and Danfoss Visual Identity
•    Layout PLUS+1® Service Tool pages in graphical environment
•    Use JavaScript to implement complex functionality
•    Develop robust testing infrastructure
•    Contribute to wider software team development, including requirements and release processes
•    Assist with customer training in using the PLUS+1® Service Tool

Background & Skills

To thrive in this role, we would expect you to demonstrate:

•    Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar relevant qualification
•    UI development experience
•    HTML development experience
•    Vanilla JavaScript development experience
•    Version control tools (SVN/git) experience

Advantageous would also be:
•    Experience with non-web UI frameworks
•    Exposure to C# UI development
•    Exposure to Python test frameworks
•    Experience in formal software development through specification
