The Impact You'll Make
At Danfoss, we’re developing the next generation of intelligent heating and district energy solutions, and we’re looking for an Electronic Engineer who wants to make a visible impact.
You’ll join an experienced R&D team focused on electronics, mechatronics, and sustainable heating technologies, working on products used in modern district energy systems worldwide. This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design to validation and production support.
If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and building products that combine electronics, control systems, and real-world impact, this role offers both technical depth and long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop electronic solutions for control valves, actuators, and district heating applications.
- Drive hardware development activities across the product lifecycle, from schematic design and simulation to testing and validation.
- Develop and debug microcontroller-based systems and support integration with motor control technologies.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products on time.
- Contribute to engineering improvements that enhance efficiency, product quality, and time-to-market.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with proven experience in electronic hardware development.
- Solid expertise in analog and power electronics design, including DC/DC converters and SMPS.
- Experience with motor control systems such as Stepper, BLDC, and DC motors.
- Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools, particularly Altium Designer and LTspice.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, RS485), RF technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi, 4G), PCB design and manufacturing processes.
- Fluent in Slovenian and English, both written and spoken.
