Support the equipment team in the maintenance, development and optimization of machining, assembly and testing equipment to lay a solid foundation for stable and reliable production.
Ensure competitive production to meet customer demand; responsible for equipment maintenance, upkeep, and management of spare parts; electrical development, design, modification, and validation of automated equipment; support the equipment team in the maintenance, development, and optimization of machining/assembly/testing equipment; and strengthen the foundation for stable, solid production.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist the Equipment Supervisor in managing all company equipment and facilities, and carry out routine maintenance and repair work.
- Manage system solutions related to smart manufacturing, digitalization, and automation transformation.
- Develop and oversee equipment-related WI, SOP, TPM, and KPI documentation, and standardize equipment maintenance procedures.
- Own key metrics such as production equipment process optimization, process capability, and equipment failure rate; analyze and resolve equipment-related issues to continuously improve equipment performance.
- Lead the modification of production-line tooling and programs, as well as the introduction, design review, and acceptance of new equipment and tooling.
- Independently own projects and full-cycle electrical system development for non-standard automation equipment, including early-stage electrical planning, hardware selection, cost estimation, and BOM preparation.
- Independently design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control cabinet layouts.
- Handle programming and commissioning, including equipment control systems and HMI programming, motion control, vision system communication/integration, and on-site debugging.
- Perform other duties assigned by management in support of company objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience implementing automation projects in manufacturing.
- Familiar with quality system tools such as IATF 16949, SOP, PFMEA, Control Plans (CP), and structured problem-solving methods.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical development for non-standard automation equipment, with a proven track record of independently leading projects end-to-end — from hardware selection through software programming to on-site delivery.
- Proficient in mainstream PLC programming, including Siemens (SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 series) and Inovance.
- Skilled in the selection and application of common electrical components (low-voltage power distribution, sensors, motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, etc.).
- Familiar with PMP project management processes and methods, with strong coordination and communication skills across scope, schedule, and quality management.
- Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure, with excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
