Bock GmbH, headquartered in Frickenhausen, Germany, is one of the world's technology and innovation leaders in the development of environmentally friendly, economical solutions in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology, including heat pumps and heat recovery - with one of the world's largest portfolios of compressors for natural refrigerants.
A natural fit - Bock GmbH has been part of Danfoss Climate Solutions since March 2023. At the Frickenhausen site near Stuttgart, we are currently looking for a Head of Sales (m/f/d) for our Mobile Applications product portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you are fully responsible for turnover and result of the mobile application segment serving customers from automotive, commercial vehicle, transportation and rail.
Furthermore, your tasks are:
- Strategic planning and management of existing global key accounts as well as seeking and acquiring new customers in mobile application to actively drive the realization of our growth strategy
- Leading a cross-functional teams of technical, marketing and product experts to develop and execute a strategic business plan and sales approach to achieve sales targets
- Development and implementation of global sales strategies for market analysis, market development and new customer acquisitions
- Monitoring and evaluation of the global market to derive corresponding product trends like heat pumps or vehicle electrification and customer requirements
- You are the face to the customer – including onsite visits and participation at trade fairs
Background & Skills
You have a degree in engineering/ management and a proven track record in technical sales as well as several years of professional experience in the cooling / refrigeration industry resulting in in-depth market and product knowledge.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Proven experience in developing and leading highly engaged teams as well as in defining and executing successful sales and go to market strategies
- Extensive experience in project and direct sales
- Solution oriented mindset combined with a structured and organized way of working
- Excellent communication skills in English as well as in German. Additionally language skills are a plus
