Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to manage the Spanish market for high-pressure pump and valve systems in the water sector (including desalination, wastewater treatment, and high-pressure water applications).

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Spanish market, focusing on the Catalan and Mediterranean Cost.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities and meet customer needs.
• Provide technical consultancy to clients on Danfoss' high-pressure pump and valve solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of product benefits and applications.
• Collaborate with the internal team to provide comprehensive support to clients, including order management, issue resolution, and technical assistance requests.
• Travel regularly to meet with clients and participate in trade fairs or industry events.

Background & Skills

• Preferably an academic background in technical/economic areas; a degree in naval engineering is a plus.
• Previous experience in technical sales, preferably in the high-pressure pump or valve sector.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly, with a focus on the Catalan and Mediterranean regions of Spain.
