As a Global MES & Machine Controls Specialist, you will shape how our factories operate today and in the future. Your work will power the next generation of manufacturing intelligence within Danfoss Turbocor and ensure our global sites run smarter, safer, and more efficiently.


You’ll play a central role in developing the standards that connect machines, systems, and data across our operations—directly influencing productivity, quality, and our ability to scale.

This is an in-office role based at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop and implement standardized PLC control system solutions that strengthen quality, reliability, and global scalability.

  • Collaborate with integrators and IT teams to deliver MES solutions that give manufacturing teams real-time insights and smarter decision-making capabilities.

  • Lead automation and digital transformation projects—from small upgrades to major multi-million-dollar investments—that enhance performance across global sites.

  • Design optimized factory layouts that improve material flow, support efficient workforce planning, and prepare new locations for long-term success.

  • Drive capital projects from concept through startup, ensuring strong execution and measurable operational impact.

What We're Looking For

 

  • 5+ years of experience managing or implementing site-wide PLC control standardization in manufacturing, including Siemens PLCs.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Industry 4.0 and Connected Factory solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience working with MES platforms such as SIT/Ops Center or Critical Manufacturing.

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations with supervisory responsibilities.

  • Working knowledge of CAD (2D/3D) and proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., MS Office).

 

Nice to Have

  • 10+ years of experience managing or implementing site-wide PLC control standardization in manufacturing, including Siemens PLCs

  • Expereince working on an assambly line start up
