Job Description

We are looking for you – our new Danfoss Drives control electronics engineer!

You will add to - and work in - a knowledge intensive and experienced team with 6 people and we guarantee you that this is an opportunity for further development both personally and professionally.



We are working with the newest technology within control electronics. You will work with hardware development within product development, from idea phase through development and design, until the product goes into production.

Job Responsibilities

Development, innovation, and projects in close cross-functional cooperation!


With reference to the Head of Control Electronics, your focus will be to ensure a high level of innovative, cost-effective & high-quality solutions by participating in product and technology projects. You will work with integrated product development through cross-functional disciplines such as mechanics, power electronics, software, production, and testing. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Participation in product and technology projects with control electronics responsibility
  • Design of microcontroller/SoC based solutions
  • Design high-speed circuits with focus on signal integrity
  • Power efficiency in control electronics and power integrity
  • Development of digital and analog circuits using a wide range of technologies
  • Simulation of circuits and designs is a natural part of the job
  • Participation in cross-functional project teams to ensure integrated product development
  • Quality assurance of designs using our structured Hardware Development Model
  • Preparation of design and technology documentation

This role will require a presence at the Danfoss office in Graasten.

Background & Skills

There is more than one way into this position, you can be a newly graduate (2+ years’ experience) or have solid work experience in developing control electronics. We expect that you have knowledge within Microprocessor - preferred is SoC -, and analog design. If you at the same time have knowledge within VHDL/FPGA, power electronics, frequency converters and power integrity it will be an advantage. But for you to be able to handle the challenges in this job, we expect you to hold a relevant Bachelor/Master’s degree or similar in electronics.

 
On a more personal note, you have a good drive, are eager to learn and can embrace the ongoing changes and challenges that we meet every day. Since we work in a global company, it is a necessity that you master English both written and spoken.
