Technology / Manufacturing Engineering of the Future Smart Factory
 – Southern Denmark, preferable Graasten

 

About us 
Our Global Supply Chain Technology Center is looking for 2-4 ambitious Technology/ Manufacturing Engineering interns for Fall semester 2024. 
 
You will be part of our Global Supply Chain Technology Center with around 100 employees world¬wide – where we work with Manufacturing Technology, Production Concepts and Unit-test-concepts and IT¬-landscapes related to world class Smart Factory.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for Interns in the following 3 different working areas:

 

• Team OTM (Thomas E. Riemer) – Manufacturing Engineer Intern
You will work in cross-functional teams (Operations, Technology, R&D) where you will contribute to further develop our future Automated Manufacturing Concept. You will work with a wide range of interesting technologies within Manufacturing, I.e. New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing Master Data, Design for Automated Assembly (DFA/A), Robotics in assembly and Factory Transition Layouts.

 

• Team TPA (Peter L. Andersen) – Platform Architect Intern 
You will, among other activities, drive the development of our future automated as-sembly platform based on collaborative robots. This includes conceptual refinement, followed by real-life proof-of-concept to validate this. Through this work, you will combine theoretical analysis with practical experiments.

 

 

• Team OTT (Peter Westermann) – SW Developer Intern. You will contribute to the development of our future production setup. You will work with cloud applications in .NET. Our setup is based on Azure technologies such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB
You will be involved in working with different technologies that we will apply in both the short and long term. We focus on the Industry 4.0 environment for manufacturing and many other technologies that will secure us a position on the Industry 4.0 journey. 

 

Background & Skills

Candidate profile
You are either a Bachelor or Master student in engineering, with a study, which is relevant for our business area. Please mark your area of interest in your application with corresponding name. It would be advantageous if you can document activities or projects related to automation and you are professionally curious, enjoy learning, and have an enthusiasm for technology development. We also expect you to be entrepreneurial and want to work with many different people in an international environment. Finally the position requires full-time working

Working location
