Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in water and wastewater business. As a key member of our Product Development department, you will play a key role in developing and designing groundbreaking mechanical solutions and pioneering new technologies in the field.

Job Responsibilities

-    Lead and contribute to the design and development of new frequency converters, components, and products from concept to commercialization.
-    Utilize advanced engineering techniques, including simulation and analysis, to optimize mechanical performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
-    Collaborate within a cross-functional team consisting of mechanics, electronics and software engineering. 
-    Ensure seamless integration and execution of new product development projects in close cooperation with manufacturing.
-    Generate innovative design concepts, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to validate feasibility and functionality.
-    Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
-    Perform comprehensive testing, validation, and verification of mechanical designs, documenting results and making necessary design modifications.
-    Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

Background & Skills

-    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2-5 years of experience. 
-    Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and concepts, with a focus on new product development.
-    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, NX) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS) for design and analysis.
-    Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies.
-    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
-    Strong project management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and successfully completing projects.
-    Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for being part of a highly effective and cohesive team 
-    Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables
