The Impact You'll Make
At Danfoss Drives, turning innovative product designs into reliable, scalable production is critical to bringing new technologies to market.
As our Supply Chain Project Manager, you will lead the supply chain and manufacturing readiness of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring new drive technologies are ready for successful industrialization and production.
You will take projects from early development through industrialization and handover to Operations, bringing together R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Operations.
Based in our Supply Chain Technology Center in Gråsten, you will have a key role in translating product ambitions into robust manufacturing solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead NPI industrialization projects, ensuring manufacturing, materials, processes, and supply chain capabilities are ready for successful product launches.
- Drive cross-functional execution, aligning R&D, Product Management, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations around priorities, milestones, and decisions.
- Shape manufacturing readiness, ensuring new products and processes meet targets for manufacturability, scalability, quality, and cost.
- Lead major manufacturing changes, including product and component changes, new production setups, technologies, systems, and digital manufacturing solutions.
- Own project delivery, proactively managing risks, dependencies, milestones, priorities, and stakeholder communication to keep complex projects moving forward.
What We're Looking For
You are an experienced project manager who takes ownership, creates direction, and drives results across functions. You combine a solid understanding of manufacturing with the ability to align people around clear priorities.
You bring:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production Technology, or a related field.
- Experience leading technical, manufacturing, industrialization, or supply chain projects in an industrial environment.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and business flows.
- Proven project management skills, including managing priorities, risks, stakeholders, and milestones.
- The ability to influence decisions and create alignment across functions and regions without direct authority.
- Fluent English. Danish is an advantage, but not required.
Experience with New Product Introduction and industrialization is a strong advantage. Experience with Agile or Scrum ways of working is also beneficial.
You are structured, proactive, and comfortable moving forward when not everything is defined. You build trust, challenge constructively, and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
What You'll Get from Us
This role gives you the opportunity to influence how new Danfoss Drives technologies move from development into full-scale production. You will work at the intersection of product development, supply chain, and manufacturing, with exposure to specialists, technologies, suppliers, and manufacturing locations across our global organization.
You'll help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.
We'll support your career growth with mentoring, learning opportunities, and access to global career paths.
You'll have the flexibility, autonomy, and support you need to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
