Job Description

We are looking for an intern to join our team in Drives Intelligence. The project is looking into lifetime of power electronics - particularly Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT).

 

Our team is a diverse mix of software and control engineers, along with a data analyst, all dedicated to advancing Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance for our frequency converters and their applications.

 

The internship is located in Graasten, Denmark.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a lifetime model for our projects.
  • Implement the rainflow counting algorithm in C++ for embedded systems.
  • Participate in lab evaluations and testing to validate your work.
  • Benchmark machine learning models against traditional analytical models.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers from universities on cutting-edge projects.
  • Gain the opportunity to develop and refine a strong thesis topic based on your work.

Background & Skills

  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interest in machine learning.
  • Willingness to work in a lab environment.
