Danfoss Climate Solutions (DCS) is looking for a competent Demand Planning Excellence Lead to drive our excellence program demand planning. Your job is important since an accurate demand plan is critical for the supply chain planning and attainment of business goals.

 

As Demand Planning Excellence Lead you will own the demand planning processes, systems and tools and be responsible for continuous improvement to enable the efficient and high-quality delivery of the monthly demand plan to downstream supply chain and capacity planning processes.

Your main mission would be to enable Global Demand Planners to provide the most accurate demand plan for the businesses. This is done through development and implementation of best practice processes, tools and systems within the demand planning community of DCS and the broader Danfoss business.

Job Responsibilities

 

These would be your tasks: 

  • Governing Demand Planning Network to strengthen capabilities in demand planning & analysis, creating an externally benchmarked, highly coherent and engaged community
  • Driving and supporting the implementation of demand planning best practices within our divisions
  • Leading, driving and coordinating improvement initiatives within our planning system Anaplan together with our Central team
  • Running process improvement projects with stakeholders across the business e.g. Sales and Finance
  • Creating leadership framework and direction to develop advanced analytic capabilities in demand planning, leveraging data-driven insights into the prediction of future demand
  • Build collaborative relationships with external academic centers and experts to research the optimization of advanced analytical methods and practices for internal implementation
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes and ensure global alignment & understanding

Your background:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar

  • Proven experience and expertise within the demand planning area  (+3 years)

  • Experience in leading and motivating colleagues without formal or direct people management responsibility

  • Experience with and ability to navigate and influence a large and complex global matrix organization

  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver on critical timelines

  • Fluent English language skills
