Senior Design Engineer

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Design Engineer who will join the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls R&D and Engineering organization in Danfoss and will report to the Engineering Manager in Poland. Your area of responsibility will include engineering for Commercial and Industrial Valves for refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Job Responsibilities

•       Lead cross functional team in design change activities arising from continuous  improvements of quality and cost

•       Design and implement customer specific adaptations

•       Drive engineering effort in quality issues affecting customers and/or manufacturing

•       Coordinate changes with factories in China, India, Denmark, and Mexico

•       Optimize products in accordance with new circular design requirements

Background & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Mechatronic
• 2-5 years’ experience with design of mechanical products
• +2 years of experience in using 3D CAD software
• English – strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high quality enviroment, with attention to details
• Great interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic team player.
