Job Description
Our Infrastructure Operations team is looking for a Senior Engineer to support our global infrastructure based in the EMEA region. As a member of our highly skilled team at Danfoss, you will manage and maintain our global infrastructure. The operations team is crucial for ensuring the continuous and secure running of services worldwide, and we emphasize a proactive approach to achieve high uptime and security. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily IT infrastructure operations and assisting with various IT projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer in his daily job:
- Partners with technology and business leaders in developing networking and telecommunication systems, implementing and maintaining overall IT Networks, and other IT networking strategies and standards for the organization
- Performs day-to-day mentoring of the IT Network team members, and coordinates with external vendors/contractors to meet organizational goals.
- Oversees the implementation of network security and audit at the corporate level, and ensures sufficient measures are in place to protect the systems, data, and other information assets.
- Develops, maintains, and administers network operational and administrative procedures and standards to meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Demonstrates understanding in automation of network related tasks.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Background & Skills
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 5+ years in infrastructure/network engineering
- Advanced level knowledge of a wide breadth of network infrastructure technologies to include, but not limited to L2 Switching, L3 routing (static & dynamic protocols), Wireless standards and connectivity, Datacenter networking principles, Load balancing, and firewalls.ITIL v4 knowledge
- Advanced English language skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
- Ability and flexibility to work extra hours and weekends
