Job Description

Danfoss Climate Solutions, Refrigeration and A/C Controls Division is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Product Testing within R&D.

This person will be directly reporting to Local R&D and Engineering Manager based in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, with dotted line reporting to Head of R&D Hub Europe.

If you are self-driven person, demonstrating good analytical and interpersonal skills (managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively) as well as you have experience with testing preparation, product test execution, testing support and worked on R&D project before – this is a position made for you!  Apply now!

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

• Manage and execute whole process of Product Testing for commercial and industrial valves and on/off switches for refrigeration and air conditioning systems according to internal specifications and global standards
• Utilization and further development of documents, standards, SOP’s and templates to strengthen our test data management
• Ensure that planned calibrations and maintenance activities are done on time.
• Participate in support activities for new product development (NPD) projects
• Follow-up on global testing standards and ensure its implementation to the local product test lab is done in correct manner
• Continuous improvement of the local R&D laboratory in cooperation with the global product testing community including delivery of inputs for investment planning.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• 2-5 years’ experience with design or test of mechanical products (Valve and Switches design will be an advantage)
• Fluent in English
• Understanding the benefit of detailed test activities
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product engineers, testing peers and stakeholders

Optional

• Experience of executing tasks in multinational environment
• Team/Project leading experience
• Knowledge of 3D CAD; Autodesk Inventor
