Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Senior GL Accountant & Reporting to join our diverse team in our developing Shared Service Center SC based in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. You will be responsible for the provision of GL Accounting, Management and Statutory Financial Reporting to assigned foreign sales entities. Moreover, you will work closely with R2R/P2P/O2C teams, Group Reporting, Group Tax, Business Controllers, Business Partners to make sure end-to-end processes are adhered to and performed timely with right quality.

Job Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely preparation the full financial & direct tax reporting: responsibility for IFRS Group reporting; statutory financial statement, direct tax reporting and statistical reports with cooperation of external advisors
- Review, analysis and decisions regarding quality of the balance sheet, profit & loss accounts and direct tax reporting
- Approving and making recurring and non-recurring journal entries, e.g. inventory, intercompany, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write offs, taxes
- Ensuring compliance in line with Corporate requirements/ SOPs, local GAAP accounting & direct tax requirements. Understand the current and new legislation, follow and implement accounting and tax regulatory changes
- Effective and prompt identification and resolving problems during MEC as a key to meet closing deadlines
- Being involved in internal and external audits, cooperation with auditors on annual audits and tax returns
- Driving standardization and harmonization initiatives
- Providing support to other team members in day-to-day processes and support the manager with current priorities
- Contributing to General Ledger process improvement initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation
Background & Skills
- Around 4 years professional experience in corporate full general ledger accounting or management accounting, with financial reports preparation and direct tax reporting
- +2 years of experience with management/statutory financial reports preparation at similar position in a multinational company or Shared Service Centre multifunctional role
- Bachelor degree in accounting/finance related is required, Masters preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and good knowledge on taxation
- Practical knowledge of SAP/other integrated software and advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience in SSC/BPO
- Consolidation reporting systems (HFM/Oracle) and good understanding of BI tools
- Very good written and spoken business level in English
- Analytical skills, solution-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude and customer focus
- Eye for accuracy, flexible attitude, self-motivated, well organized, independent
