As Senior Operations Manager, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, you will lead the end-to-end operations of Danfoss Industrial Refrigeration’s Poland manufacturing footprint. Reporting to Alejandro Figueroa Lopez, you will play a critical role in shaping operational performance while building a strong culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and people development.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for manufacturing, planning, logistics, quality, and operational excellence activities. You will help ensure that our operations are positioned to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term competitiveness.
Success in this role comes from your ability to develop leaders and teams, lead through change, and translate strategy into operational results. While a strong manufacturing background is important, this role is first and foremost about people leadership, organizational development, and building a high-performing operation for the future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead manufacturing and supply chain operations to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality performance while meeting customer expectations.
- Develop and coach leaders and teams to build capabilities, strengthen engagement, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives using Lean principles and the Danfoss Business System to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Partner across functions including Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Commercial teams to support growth, new product introductions, and strategic priorities.
- Guide operational transformation efforts through process improvements, automation, digitalization, capacity planning, and manufacturing development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, including responsibility for operations, plant management, or supply chain functions.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience developing leaders, managing organizational change, and building high-performing teams.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality standards, Lean principles, continuous improvement, and operational excellence practices.
- Experience managing business performance through operational and financial metrics, including productivity, cost, inventory, and service levels.
- Fluency in both Polish and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
