Job Description

Danfoss is on a digital transformation journey and for this, we need a strong and experienced Solution Architect to design robust and future proof solutions for our Smart Manufacturing activities.

Job Responsibilities

For this position, we are seeking someone who understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. You will be required to translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.

You have experience within the stack of solutions within the Manufacturing space (e.g MOM, SCADA, HMI, Controls etc.) and can oversee the dependencies to other solutions and technologies.

Background & Skills

  • Knowledge and experience of ISA-95, RAMI or likewise standards and frameworks
  • Knowledge of architecture framework (TOGAF or similar) is preferred
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant professional experience from a global B2B environment - perhaps in the automotive industry
  • General understanding of manufacturing engineering processes, plant controls, and MES systems.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining MOM software like quality tools, Warehouse, etc.
  • Work with OT applications group to gather and refine user requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and issues to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly cross functional team environment
  • Ability to prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely, high quality manner
