You will play a critical role in shaping how Danfoss connects its people, sites, factories, and technologies across the world. As the owner of our global WAN and connectivity services, you will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network services that support business operations every day.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technology, strategy, and service leadership. You will influence how connectivity services evolve, work with leading providers and technologies, and drive improvements that strengthen business performance worldwide.
Working closely with regional teams, architects, cybersecurity experts, and external partners, you will help build the future of Danfoss’ network infrastructure while ensuring our connectivity services remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
The job shall be hybrid, possible work locations are: Grodzisk Mazowiecki or Sofia or Povazska Bystrica or Bucharest.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and lead the global WAN service strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and service improvement priorities to deliver reliable and future-ready connectivity services.
- Manage relationships with ISPs, carriers, and technology providers, driving service quality, contract management, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity solutions, ensuring services meet operational and strategic needs.
- Oversee service governance, including SLAs, KPIs, budget planning, business cases, risk management, and operational readiness for new or enhanced services.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support broader network infrastructure initiatives, including WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, cloud, and data center connectivity.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in managing enterprise WAN services, including ISP relationships, vendor management, contracts, and SLA governance.
- Strong knowledge of WAN, SD-WAN, internet and carrier services, with working understanding of LAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience developing service roadmaps, lifecycle strategies, budgets, business cases, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel globally approximately 10–20 days per year.
- Experience with technologies such as Aruba, EdgeConnect SD-WAN, Infoblox, Azure Virtual WAN, network automation.
