Job Description

At Danfoss Drives we are looking for a Service Engineer for our After Market Service in Groot-Bijgaarden with experience with frequency converters or similar electronic products.

You will be part of our team in Groot-Bijgaarden and in The Netherlands (Gorinchem, Rotterdam). Our After Market Service organization is also part of the European Service organization.

Job Responsibilities

You will be carrying out field service activities for our customers and back-office support work at our office locations, you can expect a balance between 50% in the field and 50% in the office.

 

Further tasks and responsibilities you can expect, include:

  • You are responsible for providing technical support to our customers and Service Partners who use our frequency converters.
  • You are the main point of contact for our customers and Service Partners for service-related questions or problems, this can be done by telephone or email.
  • You are also responsible for handling and supporting service cases, which can be local but also global service cases.
  • You provide on-site support for the customer for more complex service cases and special applications e.g., commissioning or repairs of the frequency converters.
  • You are responsible for the processing of service orders and for a structured information provision to our service administration.
  • You prepare service-related quotations.
  • You collaborate with the service, engineering and sales teams in the Benelux region, but also with colleagues in different countries and regions. It is also an important task to support our Service Partners.

You hold a Bachelors’ degree in Electromechanics, or you have completed A2 Electromechanics and you were able gain some experience with commissioning and repair work on frequency converters or similar products.

 

Furthermore, the following aspects are important for us:

  • Knowledge of drive technology and electrical engineering
  • Experience in working with Sales Force would be a plus
  • Outstanding customer and service focus in your everyday work
  • Communicating with customers and Service Partners is one of your strengths
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English
