Job Description
In Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives, we are looking for a Business Consultant (m/f/d) with a focus on Licensable Features, encompassing both drive and software/service features. As part of the Systems department, you will own and lead the end-to-end development of licensable features across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, PLM, MES).
Ideally, you are located close to our European sites – e.g. Nordborg (DK), Guntramsdorf (AT), Offenbach (DE), Grodzisk Mazowiecki (PL), Alcobendas (ES).
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Consultant, you will be responsible for Danfoss Drives’ licensable features in an end-to-end system landscape. You will connect different teams with aligned priorities towards one strategic direction. To be successful, you will closely collaborate with customers, sales, service, supply chain, R&D as well as Danfoss’ Group Digital & IT organization. Your tasks will include:
- Lead on DPD’s software licensing vision, purpose and product roadmap in alignment with business objectives and technological capabilities
- Communicate and analyze business requirements and current challenges based on close dialogue with our stakeholders and customers
- Keep up with new and emerging licensing technologies & trends that drive innovation and continuous improvement of the licensable features and products
- Help product owners to maintain their backlogs while prioritizing based on value, risk and dependencies to ensure a clear execution plan
- Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure understanding of the vision and prioritizations in the backlog
- Drive the development and upkeep of an engaged licensing community, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices among stakeholders, users, and partners
- Stakeholder management and communication to the licensing community, product teams and programs
Background & Skills
- A master’s or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Consultant, Product Owner or in a similar role
- Experience in business process mapping and business process automation
- Strong system knowledge of end-to-end flows in ERP, CRM, PLM, MES
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management, ability to connect people from different areas (e.g. sales, service, production) towards same goals
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and communicating issues and areas for improvement and performance bottlenecks
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
