Job Description

At Danfoss Heating segment within District Energy we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) located in Southern Germany or Austria, at one of our sites or in Home Office. As part of a dedicated international team you will secure a strong business for Danfoss District Energy within the region. 

Job Responsibilities

In this role you are responsible for supporting and developing our business in the Central European Region in close cooperation with the local sales teams. Your primary focus is on promoting Danfoss’ unique value proposition in District Energy Utilities towards the customer group of mainly energy suppliers as well as system integrators and OEMs. You will ensure the long-term strategy with existing customers as well as acquiring new accounts. Overall, you will be the sparring partner for local sales to coach and support on sales approaches, providing a clear strategy, sales toolbox and market insights. 


You work in the region in close cooperation with local Sales teams, as well as with our colleagues around Europe, ensuring a strong awareness on the products and solutions. 
 

Background & Skills

For this position you hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have experience with District Energy business from a Business Development, Sales, Product Portfolio, Product Management, R&D or Marketing position. You have a passion for product and application technology, innovation and trends in District Energy. Additionally, we are looking for: 

 

  • Result and performance-oriented sales mindset focused on customer satisfaction 
  • Decisive team player with positive attitude 
  • Ability to influence and navigate among internal and external stakeholders in global matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate at all senior levels
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Europe
