The Impact You'll Make

• Provides support to internal/external customers to improve Danfoss' business
• Leads laboratory projects, consistently meeting test schedules, cost targets, and quality objectives
• Secures that developed laboratory methods, setups, and facilities comply with the required standardization
• Demonstrates ability to independently conduct all aspects of testing in conjunction with all test room facilities

What You’ll Be Doing

• For refrigeration application units:  Designs and documents new test setups to comply with relevant standards
• Develops refrigeration application testing methods in cooperation with R&D, engineering, and sales and marketing
• Performs application testing on units in cooperation with R&D, engineering, and sales and marketing projects, also according to international standardized testing requirements
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and modifies systems to support extensive sales and R&D programs
• Supports competence build up at own or at global laboratories within own field of experience
• Prepares and maintains test schedules and documentation
• Maintains effective communication with project team to assure performance of duties
• Proactively engages in safe working habits, adhering to applicable standards

What We're Looking For

•    5+ years HVAC/refrigeration applications and thermodynamics experience
•    Knowledge/experience of testing processes and methodologies
•    Knowledge about measurement techniques, metrology, data acquisition, and National Instruments LabVIEW
•    6-Sigma and quality standard knowledge and experience
•    Practical mechanics experience preferred
