Job Description

Danfoss heat exchangers is looking for a CFD simulation engineer to join its R&D team. Your role is to develop and optimise heat exchanger technology plateform in accordance with market requirement. you will be involved in the entire value chain within simulations. This includes conceptual work, draft of possible design solutions to improve fluid dynamics or structural integrity, executing and analysing CFD simulation as well as review of experimental test results and model development. 
You must have a solid Anasys (CFD) simulation experience with hydrodynamics, including single phase and two phase flow. In addition, you master heat transfer and are familiar with enhancement technics. Preferably, you have knowledge of two-phase flow mechanisms.  you have basic experience of refrigeration system. 
you are innovative, fact-based and result-oriented. Must be detail oriented and self-motivated,You demonstrate learning agility, and are positive, open-minded and a good team player who can interact with others, across borders and culture.

Job Responsibilities

• Build CFD models and execute advanced simulations and analysis
• Creating new feature concepts, utilizing simulations insights and product understanding, to deliver new innovative products
• Review experimental test results to finetune and calibrate models to ensure maximum alignment between the virtual and real world
• Redesign & update existing products to optimize heat transfer and friction for high efficiency and cost-down.
• Focus on platform development to support other engineers.
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master’s in Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer, or similar education combined with a technical background, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.
•    5+ years design experience in CFD simulation relevant field
•    Has experience with Matlab or other data processing focussed programming languages
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
•    Is self-driven and take ownership of your assignments and continuously looks for new ways to view challenges and opportunities to create maximum value.
•    Corporative, open for other cultures, self-driven and open-minded in general
•    Experience with Microsoft tools and another commercial tool
