Job Description

Continuously product design improvement for mass products, to fulfill Danfoss products world-class Quality requirements and competitive material cost.

Job Responsibilities

   Takeover the whole product knowledge from Product Development projects after mass production.
   Well known all the product knowledge for Mechanical aspects, possess the same ability as R&D Mechanical engineer.
   Make product design change/optimization if necessary.
   Make analysis for defect products, find out the root cause.
   Make product design change if design defect.
   Hotline technical support when it’s required.
   Carry out quality improvement activity/project to approach global call rate target to ensure global quality requirement.
   Serious quality case handling to secure production running and ensure quality/safety and customer satisfaction.
   Find out potential technical cost down ideas, and make design change and verification to implement the ideas.
   Realize the product change requirement from Purchasing for 2nd source or supplier requirement/move manufacturing production etc. 
   Provide technical support for global customers’ technical requirement, to enhance customer satisfaction. 
   Make PAF (product adaption form) for customer brand products.
   Quality case support to Lower line rejects at key customers (OEM).
   Assist in obtaining and keeping high yield in a lean production.
   Provide technical support to improve productivity, reduce scrap cost etc. for production line.
   Provide technical support to suppliers to solve their production issues to achieve global delivery Reliability etc.

Background & Skills

   Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering is required.
   Minimum 5 years of product design work experience with drives/frequency converter or similar products is required. 
   Familiar with material manufacture process like plastic, sheet metal, die-casting are preferred.
   Well known about the assembly process for electronics products.
   Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
   Ability to actively participate and facilitate group meetings.
   PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Pro-E drawing tool.
   Strong analytical and technical skills.
