At Danfoss we are looking for our new Lead Engineer IoT Infrastructure (m/f/d).

Job Responsibilities

You become part of the global IoT Infrastructure Service team spread over 3 global regions, EMEA, APAC and AMER. This position is for the team in the EMEA region.

 

From an infrastructure perspective you will be responsible for managing the technical definitions and coordination of IoT projects in collaboration with peers from different teams in IT infrastructure departments. Collaborate and coordinate technical activities with the global IoT development team. Work with the Danfoss segments and the IoT Development team to develop IoT system solution based on use cases, requirements engineering technical feasibility studies and back-end solutions. Execute software work packages and onsite/online training.

Background & Skills

For this role, we require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and several years of working experience in an Agile (SCRUM)and DevOps (global and local) environment. Additionally, we would like to see:

  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages like Python, C or other relevant programming language
  • Experience with designing digital hardware or software system/solutions for IoT projects. Examples of projects:
    • Alarm Monitoring System – Monitoring of supermarket fridges and alarm service
    • Telematics Solution for off-road vehicles
    • Data Collection from Energy Meters
    • Monitoring of Frequency Converters
  • Experience with databases (SQL), network, Cloud and Security. Preferably in the possession of certifications for Windows, Cloud and Security such as Azure Developer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure IoT engineer or other relevant certifications
  • Understanding and experience with Source control versioning tools such as experience in git, Azure DevOps
  • Focused on quality, scalability and clean code
  • Experience with the Agile methodology development (SCRUM)
  • Experience with hardware/electronics development, designing and prototyping is considered as a major advantage
  • Be fluent in writing and speech of the English language
