At Danfoss Sensing Solutions, we are establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Sofia. You will be a key player in producing our latest generation of sensor technologies, contributing your technical expertise to ensure their success from the factory floor to our global customers.
In this role, you'll work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and global engineering teams to support stable production, solve technical challenges, and help improve manufacturing performance. This is a hands-on opportunity to work close to the production process and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative sensor solutions used around the world.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Product Engineer, you will:
- Support daily manufacturing operations by investigating technical issues, troubleshooting production challenges, and helping maintain stable production processes
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, yield, and operational performance
- Execute product and process changes in production, ensuring that approved engineering changes are implemented accurately and documented according to established procedures
- Collaborate with global engineering teams during product introductions, transfers, and the implementation of new product variants
- Contribute to root cause investigations and problem-solving activities to improve product reliability and manufacturing efficiency
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment, ideally within electronics, sensors, or similar technical products
- Practical experience supporting production processes, resolving manufacturing issues, and working closely with operators and cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges
- Good communication skills in English and Bulgarian, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP, engineering change processes, electronics manufacturing, or sensor technologies would be considered an advantage.
