Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CFD Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in advancing our simulation capabilities and contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies in our Climate Solutions segment at Danfoss.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced CFD simulations to optimize and accelerate new product designs in HVAC industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into product development 
  • Drive innovation through the application of coupled CFD methods and advanced numerical techniques
  • Participate in validation & verification efforts to advance computational methodologies and/or to demonstrate new technologies
  • Develop advanced pre-processing techniques for complex geometries 
  • Maintain ownership of in-house tools and workflows 
  • Share expertise and provide technical guidance to the team and promote simulation techniques and provide training to internal stakeholders

We are looking for:

  • PhD or master’s degree in physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant working experience 
  • Profound knowledge in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics principles
  • Proficiency in programming, especially in Python, for tool development and data analysis
  • Experience with CFD programs such as ANSYS Fluent or similar
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with global teams and stakeholders
