As our Specialist, Digital Twin Simulation, you'll play a key role in advancing simulation and digital twin capabilities across Danfoss Climate Solutions. Working with technologies such as heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and data center cooling solutions, you'll help engineers and stakeholders optimize system performance, accelerate development, and improve energy efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop and enhance Digital Twin and simulation models for thermal and cooling applications.
  • Analyze and optimize complete systems, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Support product development by providing simulation-driven insights throughout the engineering process.
  • Validate system behavior and translate simulation results into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, application engineering, and business teams to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Contribute to the growth of simulation capabilities within the team by sharing knowledge and best practices.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with thermal systems, refrigeration technologies, cooling applications, or system simulation.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and system-level engineering.
  • Experience with heat pumps, refrigeration systems, data center cooling, or similar thermal applications.
  • Knowledge of simulation tools such as Dymola/Modelica, Julia/Dyad or Matlab/Simulinkis highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on engineering mindset.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
