Job Description

Do you want to be part of a highly talented team that develops future solutions for the decarbonization of data centers? Then join our System Solutions team as a System Simulation Specialist (m/f/d) in Hamburg, Germany.

Job Responsibilities

You will support the development of global megatrends like electrification, decarbonization and data centers by bringing digitalization at Danfoss to a higher level. With system simulations you will develop cooling and heating systems and optimize them with respect to efficiency and performance. 

 

Additional tasks will include: 

  • You will work in close cooperation with application experts, system developers and control engineers
  • Support the model-based development in Danfoss
  • You collaborate with sales engineers and growth drivers in order to promote and implement our products in customer systems.
  • You develop new solutions (like liquid cooled data center solutions) in close cooperation with customers

For this position, you hold a university degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or a similar field.  
 

In addition to that, we are looking out for the following: 

 

  • Work experience or knowledge in the field of data center, cooling systems, HVAC or similar
  • Basic knowledge in thermodynamics and system simulation (e.g. Dymola, Modelon Impact, Julia, Simulink/Simscape)
  • Programming knowledge (e. g. with Python or Matlab) to automate simulation and postprocessing is an advantage
  • A creative, curious and open mind towards to new solutions and innovation
  • Fluent English language skills
