Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Develop and monitor systems to align with user needs, business goals, and regulatory standards.
  • Hands-on feature development and run the necessary Proof-of-Concept for new ideas and technology.
  • Design functional technology solutions by understanding business and customer requirements.
  • Plan and design the architecture of technology solutions and communicate requirements to development teams.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate software, hardware, and integration methods.
  • Assist in solving technical problems and ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a technical roadmap, continually researching current and emerging technologies for necessary changes.
  • Inform stakeholders about issues with current technical solutions and assess the business impact of technical choices.

Background & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Software Architect.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and system architecture development.
  • Experience in IT/OT solutions system design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Linux, RTOS) and programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#).
  • Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
  • Knowledge of automation systems, fieldbus interfaces and protocols, and hardware subsystems.
  • Experience in cloud technologies, SaaS, and portable applications is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in cybersecurity processes and implementation is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
