The Impact You'll Make

As our Hybrid Cloud Architect, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the IT Infrastructure with a focus on Private Cloud, setting the Strategic direction for our infrastructure components, ensuring seamless integration between our regional data centers, edge sites and public cloud offerings.

As the Hybrid Cloud Architect, you will succeed by building an architecture, that enables platform engineering deploying workloads where needed by our colleagues.

You’ll collaborate with internal Teams (Infrastructure, ERP, Operational Architect Forum) and external vendors like HPE and take ownership of the architecture and governance the value creation helping us move toward a more innovative and efficient future.

 

We have the possibility to employ you in one of the following locations: Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania; the job shall be hybrid.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop and maintain the architectural roadmap for Danfoss Private Cloud.
  • Drive the adoption of automation to increase efficiency and agility.
  • Design and implement compliant and secure solutions for Storage, Compute and Backup across Danfoss Clouds based on requirements.
  • Work closely with our strategic partner, HPE, to leverage their offerings and maximize value.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for hybrid cloud architecture.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on private cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of storage, compute (bare-metal, VMs, containers), and backup solutions.
  • Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English, our company language

Skills Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of platform engineering principles and providing infrastructure as a developer-centric service is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF or other architectural frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their interaction with private cloud environments.
  • Experience with HPE hardware and services is required.
