We have an immediate opportunity for an Inventory Associate to join us at our diverse team in Louisville, KY. The Inventory Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of our company's inventory. This role involves storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all inventory. This includes counting and recording stock levels, identifying and reporting discrepancies, and performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Storage and Organization: Organize and store inventory in a neat and accessible manner. Implement and maintain a logical and efficient storage system.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or internal distribution. Ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communication: Communicate with internal departments regarding inventory levels, order status, and any issues that may arise.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
