Does collaborating with customers excite you? Do you have a blend of engineering skills and sales tactics?

Then you might join our team in Türkiye, Istanbul and be our new Sales Engineer responsible for promoting and selling the Danfoss sensing solutions products directly to OEMs via wholesalers. Bringing in your sales expertise, you will focus on expanding sales by establishing a strong relationship with existing and new customers. You will also add value to the customer’s business. Thinking Danfoss you can always count on the support of your colleagues to realize your goals within sales and marketing. Being the "Voice of the Customer", you will help the sales and marketing team understand customers' needs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Effective selling of Danfoss Sensing Solutions products through Partners and directly to OEMs
  • Identify and build strong business relationships with partners and OEMs
  • Manage partners' pricing, pipeline, and development and proactively avoid conflicts
  • Generating and cultivating effective long-term relationships with customers through regular and meaningful contact
  • Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database
  • Developing, qualifying, following up, and closing sales opportunities, reporting all in the Sales Pipeline
  • Market and competitors monitoring
  • Conducting product presentations, technical advisory, etc.
  • Increasing sales opportunities and use of Danfoss product offerings with existing customers, by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Supply technical and product info to partners  and to OEMs
  • Participating in national and regional sales meetings along with trade shows as required.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree with substantial knowledge in relevant university
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in Industrial Automation Business
  • Experience working with Partners and OEMs, where sales process understanding and value selling is an important success factor
  • Proven track record of business sales success
  • Solid in use strategic sales CRM tools (like Salesforce)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • An individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Driving license
  • Ability to travel.
