The Impact You'll Make
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain automation and instrumentation systems for process control.
- Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Omron, Mitsubishi).
- Provide field support for all PLC programs in IEC 61131 environments.
- Specify, install, and calibrate field instruments (pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, control valves).
- Support execution of automation, electrical, instrumentation, and electro-hydraulic projects.
- Work with HMI software (Galileo) and SCADA platforms (Visual Designer, AVEVA).
- Ensure communication and control of equipment using protocols such as Modbus, CanBus, GPIB, Telnet, FTP.
- Assist in commissioning systems per customer specifications and regulatory compliance.
- Provide feedback from job sites for continuous improvement and quality goals.
- Deliver technical training and guidance to customers and end-users.
- Act as initial contact for troubleshooting and service issues.
- Respond to technical inquiries using product literature, engineering documents, and internal/external resources.
- Promote customer satisfaction through collaborative problem-solving.
- Ensure timely documentation sign-off and lead project handover processes.
- Address customer complaints and troubleshoot AEI & SCADA systems, including AVEVA Edge and Insight.
- Maintain and audit databases of final programs (Visual Display and PLC).
- Support local partners and system integrators with troubleshooting legacy automation systems.
- Perform software patching while maintaining confidentiality and IP rights.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Automation Engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Omron, Modicon, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc) and IEC 61131 standards.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, and MS SQL.
- Experience in electrical design, project engineering, and AutoCAD drafting.
- Familiarity with industrial graphics software (Wonderware, Citect, Intellution, Proface) and strong UI/visual design sense.
- Passion for PLC programming and automation.
- High mobility for site commissioning and troubleshooting; ability to work under pressure independently and in teams.
