Job Description
Danfoss is recruiting a Logistics Intern to deliver service within the areas of freight and import/export from and/or to Danfoss suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, campuses, and customers and manage Inbound/Outbound customs documentation. Coordinate with Custom Authorities, freight forwarders, and Internal/external customers.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Book shipments on a daily basis
- Prepare & Process customs procedures with customs for import and export
- Monitor Inbound & Outbound regular & special shipments with freight forwarders, 3PL
- Execute performance review process with Freight Forwarders & 3PL
- Analyze and suggest improvements with respect to transit time and cost
- Coordinate with SARS and EY to prepare the start-to-end process of the PTP application.
