The Impact You'll Make
Are you passionate about heat transfer and thermal-fluid systems?
Join Danfoss and help develop the next generation of heat exchanger technologies through a combination of modelling, testing, and engineering innovation.
As our new Heat Exchanger & Two-Phase Heat Transfer Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing advanced thermal management solutions that improve energy efficiency, performance, and reliability. Working at the intersection of simulation, experimentation, and product development, you'll solve complex thermal challenges and help shape future technologies and products.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative heat exchanger solutions, validate thermal-fluid models, and transform engineering data into insights that drive better design decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you'll combine analytical expertise, experimental validation, and engineering creativity to solve challenging thermal-fluid problems and advance product performance.
- Perform thermal-hydraulic design, analysis, and optimization of heat exchangers and thermal management systems
- Develop and validate numerical models for single-phase and two-phase flow, including condensation, evaporation, and other heat transfer processes
- Design, plan, and execute laboratory testing to characterize thermal-fluid performance and validate engineering models
- Analyze simulation and experimental data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and engineering teams to support technology development, prototype testing, design reviews, and innovation initiatives
Success in this role means accurately predicting complex thermal-fluid behaviour, designing experiments that validate engineering models, and translating technical findings into practical
