Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Key Account Manager to take ownership of strategic key accounts and drive growth across our full product portfolio, turning market opportunities into long-term commercial success. In this role, you will build and strengthen senior customer relationships, expand market share, and contribute directly to the execution of Danfoss’ strategic priorities in high-growth and fast-evolving sectors.
This is a role at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and business impact, where you will work with advanced climate technologies supporting data center cooling, industrial electrification, and next-generation HVAC/R solutions. What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive growth across strategic OEM accounts by developing targeted commercial plans aligned with global objectives and sustainable profitability goals.
- Create and implement long-term account strategies, with clear value propositions and structured pipelines.
- Build strong, multi-level relationships within OEM organizations, from technical teams to senior decision-makers.
- Lead complex, cross-functional project execution with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Logistics, and Internal Sales.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making and product evolution.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or key account management within HVAC, climate solutions, or broader industrial/energy-related environments.
- Proven track record in managing OEM customers and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes with long sales cycles.
- Ability to operate in international and multicultural environments, coordinating effectively across global stakeholders.
- Excellent command of both Italian and English, with strong communication skills, a value-based selling approach, and a growth mindset focused on continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation.
