Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Select, design, and calculate components and products to build the system infrastructure.
  • Convert the system architecture into a detailed system specification that aligns with the customer’s requirements.
  • Be able to provide system drawings and illustrations to help customers understand the proposed solution.
  • Act as the link between the customer and the product lines. The candidate should be able to understand the customer’s needs and provide the best and most innovative solutions.
  • Be able to convert innovative solutions into patents and work with our Intellectual Property (IP) department to protect these innovations.
  • Act as a strategic thinker with an eye for detail and a deep understanding of data center thermal management; and be able to work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate those needs into effective and innovative solutions. 

Background & Skills

This position requires a strong foundation in both air and liquid-cooled systems, the ability to design and calculate components, and the skill to build system infrastructure. Your ability to convert these technical specifications into customer-aligned solutions and your knack for innovation will be key in this role. Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in plant engineering, Marine Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Energy Plant Engineering or similar education is required. A master’s degree or higher in these fields is preferred.
  • At least five years of professional experience in system architecture is required, particularly in fields such as data center thermal management, oil and gas, petrochemical plant engineering, or related areas. Expertise in working with both air and liquid-cooled systems is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and challenges in data center thermal management. Experience in working with large-scale data centers would be a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in system design and architecture, with a focus on thermal management. Ability to select, design, and calculate components for air and liquid-cooled systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work with complex systems and infrastructures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and translate their needs into technical specifications.
  • Ability to innovate and convert these innovations into patents. Experience in IP protection would be beneficial.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work closely with customers to understand and fulfill their needs
